After watching the Polar Express that morning, the students all received train tickets. The students were told that if they believed in the magic of Christmas, they may be able to hear a magical train whistle. If they happened to hear this train whistle, they must take their ticket and board the Polar Express. Just as the students were beginning to worry that their parents might not let them go, we heard the train whistle.. Right outside of our classroom! :)
