Fire Safety Week

Our class recently studied about fire safety. The students loved meeting many of our local fireman, checking out the fire trucks, and going through the smoke house! We discussed how to handle emergencies, what to do in the case of a fire, and the importance of a safe spot outside of the home.

Creepy Crawlers!!

Our school was lucky enough to have the "science guy" visit us! He talked to the students about different types of insects and reptiles. At the end of his lesson, he even let us TOUCH his snake!

 

Grandparent's Day Celebrations!

Students were so excited to celebrate grandparents day with some of their favorite people! Grandparents really are the most wonderful people in the world :)

 

It's Finally Fall :)

To celebrate the first day of fall, we painted some of the fall tree's that we had been studying in science. Our hands were the tree trunks and we used our fingers to paint each leaf! Check out some of our masterpieces :)

Our Family Tree's

During our "All about Me" unit, our class shared family tree's that they created at home. I was truly amazed at the creativity of our parents and students! We had such an awesome time! A big thanks to all the parents who were such good sports about this family project! Here are some picture's of our little "teachers".
