Fire Department

The students loved meeting many of our local firemen, checking out the fire trucks, and going through the smoke house. We discussed how to handle emergencies, what to do in the case of a fire, and the importance of a safe spot outside of the home. The students learned a lot and had a blast!

Thanksgiving Festivities

Our class had an awesome time celebrating Thanksgiving. We created Native American vest, head dresses, and necklaces. After studying some native american tribes, we also picked out our own Native American names. Later, we used symbols to decorate our vest and head dresses.

Working hard to create a necklace, using colored noodles and yarn.

I love this picture!

Some of my favorite little Native Americans :)

The students and their families worked hard to disguise a turkey so that it wouldn't get eaten on Thanksgiving! We had everything from cows, to penguins, to ballerinas!

Thanksgiving Dinner

The students were so excited to get to eat with their guest for our Highland Thanksgiving dinner! I think it's safe to say that everyone had a wonderful time!
